      The Model 580 Knitter combines advanced electronic technology. The Model 580 knitting carriage will automatically knit Fair Isle, Punch Lace, Slip Stitch, tuck Stitch , Weaving and Plating. Forty-five pre-printed patterns come with the machine, and five re-usable blank cards are supplied for drawing your own design.

        Pop a pattern card into the card stand, and position the point cams wherever you desire on the needle bed. place the needle-1 cam between the point cams to centre the pattern.

        You can knit your pattern any width , from two to two hundred stitches, and motif patterns from two  to sixty stitches wide, and up to one hundred fifty rows long.

         Vary the standard pattern using the pattern buttons, to reverse the colours, to change the pattern direction, change the size widthways, lengthways, or both, and knit a mirror repeat - all at the touch of a button.

         Built-in knit contour helps you knit every garment in a perfect fit.
