Children between the ages of six and twelve are programmed
for learning. They take piano lessons , dance lessons,
tumbling lessons and many other lessons. They are still
exploring the complexities of life. I have proven from my
two daughters, that they
have the ability to learn sewing skills.
With Modern technology , sewing machines have become
simplified and practically trouble-free. On a modern sewing
machine, a tension problem doesn't exist. Buttonholes are
fashioned in seconds. Sergers and many sewing machines can
give the garment that "finished purchased" look.
Patterns, once developed only for experienced adults,
have now been redesigned and made easier. Children welcome
the opportunity to mimic their parents. In doing so, they
are capable of using today's patterns, and thus fashioning a
creation specially to their liking.
Kids can sew and will sew.

refresher, this class will build your sewing confidence.
This workshop introduces you to the anatomy of the
sewing machine and how to get started including bobbin
winding , threading stitch
selection and sewing seams. And you can put your knowledge
into practice with a zippered envelope pillow cover.
